Malcolm Benally is the Multi-media Speciailist for the Navajo Birth Cohort Study, a congressionally mandated environmental health study being conducted on the Navajo Nation. Malcolm is also a student at the University of New Mexico and works for the Health Sciences Center, College of Pharmacy, Community Environmental Health Programs. He is also a published author of a book of translations "Bitter Water: Dine Oral Histories of the Navajo-Hopi Land Distpute" from the Univresity of Arizona Press. A lot of the multi-media work that Malcolm does if focused on the use of the Navajo and English languages.
